The 80th Anniversary convention at Southampton is featured strongly. We go on a boat trip around the dock from which the great ship set sail. Expert Peter Boyd-Smith gives invaluable insight into the great interest in Titanic memorabilia.

We attend a memorial service in Southampton, visit Colne, Lancashire - birthplace of the ship's bandleader Wallace Hartley - and examine the preserved first-class lounge of the sister ship "Olympic".

Produced by world renowned Staffordshire film maker Ray Johnson forming part of his Staffordshire Film Archive.
